“The Butler,” “Django Unchained,” over the last 6 years, more and more movies have been made where an African-American is the star of the show. Whether you like the films being made or not is not the issue. The fact is, more and more films are being made with the African-American community as the focus.

But why? There’s not better person to ask than veteran Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein explained to the Huffington Post why were are seeing more African-American faces and who we can really blame for that.
